Zeivogel

Formerly known as Shirder, I've been practicing digital comics since 2010, mostly with dragon-centric content which over time cumulated into my current heart-and-soul project: Dragons of Ann Khadorr!

After a long and painful 3-year hiatus I decided to rebrand myself as Zeivogel in late 2021 for this new direction of content. You may also address me as Zeiv, Zee, or just plain Z :)

I struggle with social interaction in general, I'm a seeker of solitude, I tend to focus fully on my projects and tasks at hand and may appear distant and inapproachable.

But please know that I value feedback above anything else, even though I'll most likely only reply if I can immediately think of something to say. Receiving comments is the biggest motivation for me to continue with my personal projects, even more than any financial support could ever! If anything, let this be an encouragement to make yourself and your opinion about my work visible to me, it'll make my day and/or help me for sure!

That being said, I hope you enjoy the things I make!

Making comics and telling stories has been a passion since early childhood, biggest influences being classic European comic artists like Albert Uderzo, Hergé, André Franquin and Moebius, but also contemporaries like Jhonen Vasquez and the visuals of modern Marvel Comics.

While my artistic and writing skills are mostly self-taught with some educational guidance, I have acquired an educational background and practical knowledge in professional graphic design, photography and video-editing. I'm currently attending university to further deepen my knowledge in overall media design.

While I'm not specifically aiming for a professional career as a comic artist, I would love to get something published some day!
